Whilst the ‘Buy Back’ scheme is not designed for the short term hirer, it can financially benefit the longer camper/hirer (usually 45 plus days.)
The buy back price is negotiated before your departure. It is a guaranteed cash payment. Usually between 40 – 60% of the purchase price less any mechanical or body damage that may have occurred.
There are no other hidden costs apart from the normal running expenses (fuel, oil, and a service every 5000 Kilometres, if the vehicle is a diesel there will be road user charges (RUC) around $35 per 1000Ks)
Kilometres travelled are not an issue with buy back. All that is asked of you is that you return the van clean, tidy and in the same condition as when you purchased from us also that it has been serviced every 5000 Kilometres.
Although there is a written agreement between us, there is no compulsion to sell the van back to us. You are totally free to sell to whoever you like for any price.
In some cases purchasers have even sold their van for a small profit, the choice is yours. If however you run out of time or have to terminate your holiday you still have our agreement to fall back on.
